Who this app is for. The Bazaar Rider App is an internal, work-only application used exclusively by Bazaar's authorized riders, delivery personnel, and field staff ("users", "you"). The app has no public sign-up or self-registration. Accounts are created, provisioned, and managed solely by Bazaar through an internal admin portal. Members of the general public cannot create an account or use this app.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bazaar Technologies accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes data through the Bazaar Rider App. All users of this app are Bazaar employees, contractors, or authorized field personnel who have an existing working relationship with Bazaar and are bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and applicable employment or service terms. This policy, together with the in-app disclosures and permission prompts, comprehensively describes our data practices.

We collect only the data needed to operate our logistics and delivery operations and to keep them secure.

The app collects precise location, including in the background, while a rider is on an active duty/shift. This is a core operational requirement and is used to:

The app requests location permission and discloses background location use through in-app prompts before collection begins. Riders are informed of location tracking as part of their work duties. Location collection is tied to the working relationship and operational use of the app.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal and operational data for as long as the user remains active and for as long as needed for the operational, security, audit, legal, and accounting purposes described above. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized in line with our internal retention schedules and applicable law.

8. Data Deletion

How your data can be deleted. Because the Bazaar Rider App has no public sign-up and accounts are managed entirely by Bazaar, users cannot create or delete their own account from within the app. Account and data deletion is handled by Bazaar administrators.

What is deleted: Upon a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize the user's account profile, location history, captured media, and other associated personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, security, fraud-prevention, or audit obligations. Such retained data is kept only for as long as legally required and is then deleted.

Timeframe: Verified deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards — including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted internal access — to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All users are bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

This app is an internal workforce application and is not directed to, or intended for use by, children. It is used only by Bazaar's authorized adult workforce.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate internal channels.
